Nordic Substrate Solutions

Nordic Substrate Solutions has received support from the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the European Union for a project named “Biodegradable growth substrate for hydroponic farming of leafy greens”. The goal of the project is to develop a biodegradable binder that can hold plant substrates together during the 6-12 weeks required for hydroponic cultivation. The binder will be developed with the goal of being able to bind peat.
